September 2017
The European

Jehovah's Witnesses
against the finding of the organization to be extremist and its
liquidation,
the court's website reports.
"The court
has communicated directly the appeals of a number of prohibited
organizations
that have been recognized in Russia as terrorist or extremist: 'Tablighi Jamaat,' 'Aum Shinrikyo,'
'Jehovah's
Witnesses,' 'Falun Dafa [Falun Gong],' 'Nursi,' and
'Ahl-Sunnah,'" the

appeal means that
the court has found it possible to examine issues posed in it
and has sent it
to the authorities of the state against which the app;icants
have appealed,
with the suggestion to explain their position.
