First Year Scheduling Recommendations
for Students Interested in the

- One History course at the 100-level in the first semester
followed by one at the 100- or 200-level in the second semester. A 300-level course may be
approved for the second semester with a recommendation from the instructor of the
first course. Contact the Department Chair if there are no courses open at the

- Take a second 100-level course. If the credit was awarded for HIST 180, then any
100-level course may be chosen. If the credit was for HIST 101H, 104H or 151H, then the
