The General Education requirements for the School of Music depend on the degree program that you are enrolled in. The links listed below will lead to descriptions of the requirements for each degree program.
All students who entered the University prior to Fall of 2009 and who do not complete their graduations requirements prior to the start of the fall semester will be shifted to a modified version of the new General Education requirements. The modifications are intended to prevent any negative impact on students. The transition from the old General Education requirements to the new requirements is outlined in: Transition for Students Who Started Before Fall 2009.
Students enrolled in the Honors Program must satisfy a different set of requirements, which are explained in a separate document: General Education Requirements for the Honors Program.
