Alliance for International Reforestation
:: AIR Support
AIR's total annual operational budget for its projects in Guatemala is only $125,000! Approximately 97% of these funds are used to implement the projects themselves, as AIR is committed to keeping administrative and fundraising costs for a minimum (see the 2009 IRS Tax Return).
AIR is able to keep costs low by using dedicated and talented volunteers, whenever possible-- for fundraising, consulting, legal questions, design and construction of the Training Center.
Foundations and organizations which support AIR include The Shared Earth Foundation, the British Embassy, Rotary Clubs in Florida, the New England Biolabs Foundation, Fund for the Next Generation. In addition, volunteer groups from six Presbyterian Churches (PCUSA) have given invaluable labor, friendship, and financial support to AIR programs.
