Homecoming Kick-off Seafood Feast: Holler Fountain. Rain Plan: Rinker Field House. All alumni join our special guests, the members of the Stetson Society and recipients of university awards (program begins at 5:00 p.m.).

Sports Hall of Fame Induction: Artisan Inn, 215 South Woodland Boulevard. This dinner is an opportunity for all athletes to catch up with former teammates and coaches, and honor this year’s Hall of Fame inductees

Note that this event was arranged after the publication of the mailed Homecoming brochure and is not featured on that brochure's registration form. Party highlights include a Classic Car Show (on East Indiana), the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen and trophy presentations to the winners of the Legacy Cup and Football Challenge. Live music will feature the bands Motion City Soundtrack and Frontiers: The Journey Tribute Band.

Lawson Lecture Featuring Mr. Ignat Solzhenitsyn: Lee Chapel, Elizabeth Hall. Ignat Solzhenitsyn -- pianist, conductor, and son of famed Soviet dissident and writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008) -- will speak about choice and free will in his father's novel One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, the first public account of Stalinist repression. Alexander Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1970. The Lawson Lecture Series regularly features distinguished scholars who address some aspect of the broad theme of Faith and Reason.

Solzhenitsyn Performance: Feasel Rehearsal Hall, Mary B. McMahan Hall. Ignat Solzhenitsyn will perform and give a talk on the subject of "A Schubert Sonata." Solzhenitsyn is the music director of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.
