Volusia County Veterans Day Parade
Come out and honor our veterans during the Volusia County Veterans Day Parade. The parade route will run north to south down Woodland Boulevard, from Plymouth Avenue to Howry Avenue. Viewers can head over to Indiana Avenue after the parade to see exhibits, listen to live music and celebrate our veterans!
Indoor Tailgate - Cool Zone
Sponsored by Brian Hill '85 and Brian's BBQ, this indoor tailgate is the place to be for the pre-game festivities! By purchasing your 2013 Hatter Pass, you gain entrance into the DeLand Armory and will receive one food ticket and one drink ticket, redeemable for a frosty beverage!

Tailgaiting at Hatter Village
This is the place to be before the big game! Opening four hours before kick-off at every home game, Hatter Village will open on Alabama Avenue between Hubbard and Euclid Avenues. Enjoy food, drinks and a great college football atmosphere. Also, enjoy sponsor booths and giveaways, inflatables and appearances by the Stetson Band and Spirit Groups.
Football Game vs. Davidson
Gates open two hours prior to kickoff. Be sure to wear your green and white as we see Stetson University's football team in action!
To get to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium follow these directions:
From Daytona Beach/Interstate 95
- Drive southwest on U.S. 92 (International Speedway Boulevard). Travel 18 miles.
- Turn left onto North Amelia Avenue and drive 2.4 miles.
- Turn right onto East Euclid Avenue and drive half a mile to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium.
From Orlando International Airport
- Drive east on State Road 528 (toll) to exit 16 (SR-417).
- Drive north on SR 417 (toll) 30 miles to exit 55A (Interstate 4 east).
- Continue east on Insterstate 4 for 12 miles to exit 114 (SR-472 west).
- Continue three miles to South Woodland Boulevard/U.S. 17 north/U.S. 92 east.
- Continue 3.5 miles to right turn East Euclid Avenue to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium.

There will be a shuttle running from the Clarion Inn to the DeLand campus to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. (see schedule). The Bright House Networks Game Day Shuttle will also be running between Spec Martin Memorial Stadium and the various parking locations throughout downtown DeLand.
Limited parking is available at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium in several surrounding lots while space lasts.
Alternatively, free parking will be available at five lots in the downtown area, with shuttles provided to the stadium, free of charge. The shuttle service will run two hours prior to game time until one hour after the conclusion of the game. Please see the athletics website for complete information and maps for parking at Spec Martin Stadium.
Note: These lots and the route schedule are for the first home game on August 31. The route and lots may change by November 8; if they do change, they will be updated here and a note will be posted regarding the update.
Remaining single game tickets for the Homecoming game against Davidson are on sale now.
The single game ticket prices are as follows:
- Emerald (reserved sections 9 and 10) - $45 premium, $35 non premium
- Beige (reserved sections 2, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11) - $40 premium, $30 non premium
- Purple (general admission sections 1 and 7) – $30 premium, $20 non premium
Premium games include the season opener against Warner International and the Homecoming game against Davidson.
The best way to ensure your tickets for the Homecoming game on November 9 is to purchase season tickets. Tickets are also sold at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium before game time, provided that tickets are still available to the game, through the third quarter.
Half the fun of game day is tailgating before hand. Grab your gear, food and friends and arrive early on game day to stake out the best spot. Also, remember to stop by Hatter Village, located just outside the stadium on Alabama Avenue, to enjoy food, games, prizes and the Stetson University Band. Hatter Village opens at noon and closes 20 minutes before kickoff.
