Annual Wes Berner Homecoming Classic Fundraiser

Victoria Hills Golf Club, 300 Spaulding Way, DeLand

Wes Berner served as both the first soccer and golf coach for Stetson University. In 1973, Berner lost his battle with cancer at age 52. To honor him, the Wes Berner Homecoming Classic Fundraiser was founded by former students in 1990 to pay tribute to the legacy he left in Stetson Athletics. Proceeds collected from this fundraiser will be used to benefit the General Athletic Fund, which will support Stetson’s Athletic program. Registration will include a continental breakfast and lunch for participants.
