Financial Assistance

| Financial assistance for technical training programs such as the Stetson University Oracle Training Program is through private lenders. No matter who is the provider, all training providers tend to go to the same lenders such as Key Bank, Sallie Mae, or Wells Fargo.
In general, loan companies provide a number of options for repaying career training loans. The exact interest rate and repayment schedule will depend on an applicant's credit history. Most loan companies provide opportunities to defer payments during the course. The minimum loan depends on the company, but it is often around $1,000. Loans may be repaid over a period of up to 15 years.
Our Oracle Training Program students who need financial assistance to pay tuition may go to any loan provider. Stetson uses Sallie Mae, but has no financial interest with Sallie Mae.

The Sallie Mae Career Training Loan application is completed 100% online.
- Click on the above to go to the Sallie Mae Home Page at www.salliemae.com.
- Look for "Start Your Application" on the left and click on "I'm a student"
- On the next page click on Career Training Loan
- On the next page click on the Apply now button
- On the next page use the pulldown menu to indicate FL and click on Next
- On this page use the pulldown menu to select STETSON UNIVERSITY - CELEBRATION, FL 34747.
For the contact name at school type in Jay Braden - Continue through the application
In completing the application:
- The loan amount ($2,495).
- You may request to be loaned an additional amount to cover your expenses. This amount may be up to 10% of the tuition, or $249.
- On Repayment Options you may select the $10 Deferred Payments over 4 months.
- For the School Disbursement Information Disbursement 1 is the full tuition, $2,495, even if you are applying for a loan for a higher amount, and the date must be at least ten days before class begins.
