Aug. 23 Begin meeting weekly for preparatory course.
Sep. 7 Attend La Chunga (Mario Vargas Llosa) produced by La Má Teodora at the Creation Art Center Miami in Spanish. Interview with director/actors.
Sep. 27 Choose plays to present at Stetson and in Puerto Rico.
Sep. 28 Attend rehearsal of Passage ( Loretta Greco) produced by the Area Stage Company at the Coconut Grove Playhouse Miami. Informal interview with playwright.
Sep. 29 Attend performance of Jineteras y Apagones produced by at the Teatro Bellas Artes Miami in Spanish.
Oct. 22 Rehearsals begin
Oct. 26 Interview Miguel González-Pando Miami.
Oct. 27 Attend performance of Lola at Teatro Avante Coral Gables in Spanish. Informal interview with director.
Nov. 16 Tech Week begins
Nov. 21 Final Dress Rehearsal (preview audiences)
Nov. 22 Opening Night at Stover Theatre Stetson University
Nov. 25 Show (Strike: pre-LOAD-OUT)
Nov. 26 Rehearsal: LOADING OUT

Dec. 9 Relocate to University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras; LOAD-IN for workshop production (muestra); Rehearsal
Dec. 10 Lunch with Idalia Perez Garay, Chair of the Drama Dept. and Carola Garcia, acting teacher; Workshop performance/ discussion (Muestra/conversatoria); attend the final dress rehearsal of the student-produced, environmental-theatre production of Arthur Miller's classic play The Crucible (Las brujas de Salem)
Dec. 11 Visit Roberto Ramos-Perea, playwright and Director of El Ateneo Puertorriqueño; explore the historical district of Old San Juan
Dec. 12 LOAD-IN to Braulio Castillo; Tech/Dress (PM)
Dec. 13 Opening Night in Teatro Braulio Castillo; dinner after the show with two U of PR drama students at Piñones
Dec. 14 Puppetry workshop with Rafael Ortiz and his son Rey Antonio of El mundo de los muñecos (Puppet World); Performance that night
Dec. 15 Performance (Strike/LOAD-OUT); impromptu wrap party at the TD's house
Dec. 16 Laundry day; arrive in Mayagüez that evening
Dec. 17 Beach: Los Jobos in Aguadillla; meet students of the Drama Club at U of PR Mayagüez; Dinner party at Dr. Mankin's parents' home.
Dec. 18 Observe U of PR acting class final performances; perform 15 Minute Hamlet with minimal set/props/costumes; visit Phosphorescent Bay at La Parguera.
Dec. 19 Attend puppet show El glotón y el duende presented by El mundo de los muñecos at the Abraham Lincoln elementary school in Old San Juan; more San Juan.
Dec. 20 Beach: Isla Verde; attend the avant-garde original play Aqui estamos ... otra vez at the Ateneo Puertorriqueño, presented by U of PR Drama students; attend an impromptu cast party/parranda in Rio Piedras.
Dec. 21 Day trip to Piñones beach: roadside artisans and food vendors.
Dec. 22 Explore some of the mountainous interior of Puerto Rico, including Camuy Caverns, the Caguana pre-Colombian Indian settlement, and a drive through Utuado; wrap-up dinner; give our own parranda (singing "Jingle Bells") to Rafael Ortiz and family.
Dec. 23 Return to Florida
