Memories

Greek Sing Performance

During your time as a Delta Sig you'll form memories from big moments: like forming a human pyramid with your new member class outside the CUB during bid reveal, dancing in front of the school during AirWaves and Greek Sing, celebrating with your brothers after the Greek Awards Banquet, or hanging out with brothers of old during Alumni Weekend. You'll also have smaller moments that you may remember even more fondly when you look back to your time at Stetson. Whether it's a trip to Tony's Pizza, creating a makeshift jacuzzi with your brothers, TPing a brother's room, or a late night trip to IHOP. All these moments will make your Stetson experience that much greater.

Development

Your diploma will provide you with the knowledge necessary for your chosen career, however, this knowledge alone is not enough to succeed in the real world. Delta Sig picks up where academics leave off, providing leadership and personal development, giving you the tools to succeed once you leave Stetson.

Leadership

We are looking for high-achieving, highly driven people. This works out perfectly, as we assume you are interested in Delta Sig because you are this type of person. We provide opportunities to develop your leadership capabilities from day one. Your new member class will have an elected executive board that mirrors that of the fraternity. This allows for an easy transition into fraternity leadership once initiated. Our chapter also puts on a Spring Leadership Escape for all members. This retreat is the only chapter operated leadrship training program on campus, and one of the few in the nation. Leadership training is provided at the national level as well. We have newly initiated brothers attend the Regional Leadership Academy, which brings brothers from around the area together to teach successful chapter operation. The Leadership Institute is held every summer near our national headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. This camp brings together brothers from around the country, teaching them how to lead organizations, ethical decision making, and motivating others to act. Personal Development
Brothers with Awards

Your experiences in Delta Sig will give you the personality needed to achieve as an adult. As a brother, you'll hold chair positions, sit on the executive board, and complete other duties that will help you develop confidence. In addition, the numerous social occasions you will be involved in will help you to develop a magnetic personality, which is common to some of the most successful people in the world. Furthermore, you'll develop a strong loyalty and trust, as you support brothers through their difficult times, and they in turn, support you during yours. Finally, you'll learn responsibility, by balancing your academic and personal life.

Networking

Getting a job after college is tough, and competition in the job market is getting tougher. That is why it's important to network while in school. As a brother of Delta Sig you'll get this opportunity during homecoming weekend. Many of our chapter alumni have gone on to have very successful careers, including Daryle Scott, founder of Venus Swimwear. These alumni can provide job opportunities, and act as mentors in your professional life. In addition, the national scope of the fraternity provides even more opportunities, with 105 chapters and 70,000 living members. With this many people, you are sure to find a peer to act as a support system in your job search, or an alumni in your career field willing to provide advice.

Leaving a Legacy
Latest New Member Class

Stetson University and Delta Sig will give so much to you, Delta Sig provides the opportunity to give back to them. That is, the opportunity to become a student that is active on campus, in the community, and in the classroom, which gives the university a better name. The success you have with our chapter will be immortalized on the trophies passed on to fraternities after your graduation. Finally, perhaps the greatest legacy left in fraternity life is the men you recruit. Done correctly, these men will take your chapter, fraternity, and university to heights you never imagined. After you graduate, you will have reason to stay involved with the university. Unlike other alumni, when you visit during homecoming weekend you will truly have a "home" to come back to, complete with a family, your chapter's current fraternity brothers.
