Recognition for Community Service

Community Service

Students and alumni work with New Horizons Service Dogs during the H. Douglas Lee Day of Service.

For the fifth year in a row Stetson has been listed on the President’s Higher Education Community service Honor Roll by the Corporation for National and Community Services after contributing more than 100,000 hours to community service during the academic year of 2010-2011! This federal recognition is the highest a school can attain in its dedication to social services and learning. Stetson has made the list every year since the program began due to the dedication and ingenuity of our volunteers. Read more about this achievement here.
