Special Collections Names and LocationsTo locate Special Collections in WebCat, use the drop down LOCATION menu on the bottom half of the search screen. Location names are as follows: Cleland: Books and Senate and personal memorabilia of alumnus Max Cleland. Located in the Politicos Room (Room 5) and boxed in both Archives Room 3 and the Archives Annex. (Only the books will be found in WebCat; see the Cleland spreadsheet for details on the rest of the collection). Dumm_Coll: A collection of audiocassette interviews with well-known musicians, primarily pianists, given by Robert Dumm. Located in the Archives Annex. Greenlaw: 1,500 signed children's books given by alumna Dr. M. Jean Greenlaw. Located in the Johnson Room on the ground floor (base of the main stairs). Johnson_Rm: Used as a location for "unnamed" valuable collections kept in the Johnson Room on the ground floor (base of the stairs). Includes the Congressional Serial Set and the Congressional Record. Shaw: Books, Congressional papers, and memorabilia of alumnus E. Clay Shaw, Jr. Located in the Politicos Room (Room 5) and boxed in both Archives Room 3 and the Archives Annex. (Only the books will be found in WebCat; see the Shaw spreadsheet for details on the rest of the collection.) Stetson: Books, creative works, theses, etc. written by Stetson faculty and/or alumni. Also includes books about Stetson University. Located in the Johnson Room on the ground floor (base of the stairs). A few oversized Stetson collection pieces are housed in one box at the north end of Archives Room 2. Treasure: Rare and/or valuable books. Located in Archives Room 2. |
