Library Instruction Mission StatementThe instructional mission of the library is to initiate and support opportunities for faculty and students to develop technological, evaluative, and critical thinking skills in pursuit of lifelong information literacy. Using a variety of methodologies, we will provide these initiatives in support of and in conjuction with the curricular and research needs of the University. We do this in the context of the Information Literacy Competency Standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries and the University mission which embraces the value of the centrality of knowledge, examined ideas, and independent judgment in the life of an educated person. |
