The Regar Collection: Photos
The Regar Collection includes more than 200 Allen-Regar family photos,
going back to the 1860s. Some examples are shown below and the full
collection is available for viewing in the Stetson University Library
Archives.
James Frederick "Fred" Allen in Civil War uniform; photo circa 1864. Fred was
born in 1847 and died in 1929.
Calista Norton Allen, wife of James Frederick Allen. Calista was born in
1852 and died in 1940.

Allen is the daughter of James "Gus" Allen, a prominent DeLand businessman,
who was also the brother of Donald Regar's grandmother Fannie Norton Allen.
