Lanyon Quoit, Cornwall

Lanyon Quoit was restored following a storm in 1812. The present quoit (dolmen) is smaller than the original, under which a horseman could ride. The capstone weighs 13 1/2 tons. The dolmen is easily visible off the road from Madron to Morvah.
