Sunkenkirk Stone Circle, Lake District, England

Sunkenkirk is a well preserved stone circle near Swinside Farm in the southwestern Cumbrian Mountains. The site boasts fully 55 of the original 60 stone slabs of porphyritic slate. The site's remoteness makes it a favorite of European Pagans.
