Grady
Grady is a professor of English and dabbles in the Dark Arts (administration). Highlight of his sports career include scoring a touchdown for Seneca (SC) High on 32-cross-back and helping to defeat the county rival, the Walhalla Razorbacks, in JV football; making Little League all-stars before getting glasses and seeing just how fast the pitch really was; seeing Robin Roberts pitch to Ted Williams in an exhibition game in the Greenville (SC) minor league park; running the NY City Marathon; and while a Vista volunteer, meeting Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell, whose kindnesses to kids from the projects made them even more heroic.
