greg

Greg is interested primarily in historical theology and the history of doctrinal development. He enjoys teasing out the human elements in the formation of Christian thought. Greg played high school football (cornerback, free safety, and flanker) and baseball (outfield). His favorite athletic memories include: one catch for a first down and one interception (that actually pinned his team deep in its own territory) his senior year of football; bunting in the game-winning run in the Florida Crown Conference High School Baseball Championship; stealing 10 of 11 bases his senior year; batting .300 his senior year; and watching an opposing right fielder call for the ball on a high pop up only to have it bounce off his (the opposing player’s) head a good ten feet in the air (and watching the player fall down).

His least favorite athletic memories would challenge this web server’s capacity, but include: tackling air against Middleburg High School only to have the running back score a touchdown; biting on a play fake only to have the Baker County (Jasper) tight end catch a touchdown in his zone; striking out numerous times on curve balls in the dirt; misjudging the bend of a line drive to left field and watching it go to the fence; etc., etc.
