I advised my clients on all aspects of current microcomputer hardware and software topics.  I also designed, coded and implemented custom software systems on an as-needed basis for my clients. Finally, I gave custom instruction on new software in the Windows environment.

Position: Vice-President/Consultant. Responsible for requirements analysis, system design, and implementation of custom-coded microcomputer applications.
Florida Production Engineering (Daytona Beach, FL 10/83 - 11/87)
a) Position: Data Processing Manager (5/84 - 11/87) Responsible for hardware systems needs analysis, purchasing and implementation.  Also responsible for software systems analysis and design, programming, documentation and computer operations.  Supervised an operations staff consisting of seven terminal operators, two data entry operators, one computer operator and one programmer.
b) Position: Programmer/Analyst (10/83 - 5/84) Responsible for designing and coding COBOL application programs in both interactive and batch operating environments for accounting and manufacturing applications.
IBM Corporation - General Systems Division (Atlanta, GA 6/78 - 1/83)
Position: Summer Hire during college semester breaks. Responsibilities included:
a) Assistant to Application Developer. Designing and creating test scenarios to be used by application developers involved in IBM's manufacturing application package (MAPICS) for use on IBM Systems/34 and System/38.
b) Programmer's Assistant. Designing and coding performance verification and file conversion programs for accounting modules using BASIC.
c) Program Librarian. Controlling the distribution of program libraries and data files for use by developers, programmers and managers.

SEMINARS, TRAINING PROGRAMS
Faculty Seminar for Learning PowerPoint (7/99). I taught a hands-on 2-day Microsoft PowerPoint seminar for Business School faculty.
Alpha Kappa Psi (Stetson, 11/93).  I hosted a Microsoft Windows seminar in order to introduce the students to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications and how they can be used to create classroom presentations.
Tutoring sessions (Stetson, 1994-Present) for many faculty wishing to learn Windows software.
Mentor for IS191 Adjuncts (1994-Present).

Created a web site for a fellow instructor. 2000
Participated in SOAR registration program for incoming freshmen. Summer 1999
Designed CIS mini computer lab on the 3rd floor of LBC. 1998

Designed and created a custom MS ACCESS Database System for student teaching interns for Dr. Bob Leahy in the Education Department. This system allows the students to take a diskette and complete and/or change their applications on-line. 1996
