TWO MOSCOW PATRIARCHATE CHURCHES IN KIEV PROVINCE ATTACKED BY VANDALS

Vandalism attacks were committed against two Orthodox churches in the city of Vasilkov of Kiev province in Ukraine.
The incidents occurred on Friday night. Unidentified persons tried to break through the door into the church of St. Nicholas and broke windows in the altar area, the UPTs website reports.
In the church consecrated to Sts. Antony and Theodosy of the Caves, perpetrators also broke windows in the altar area and they substantially damages a stained-glass window with an image of Christ.
"Obviously this is another provocation directed against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church," Bishop of Vasilkov Nikolai wrote on his Facebook page.
