Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia, 9 May 2017
On 5 May 2017 in the city of Novomoskovsk (Tula province), unidentified persons invaded the yard of the building where Jehovah's Witnesses previously conducted worship services and left on the doors a threatening inscription.
Actions against
Jehovah's Witnesses produced by religious
intolerance have increased after the decision of the Russian
Supreme Court for
liquidation of registered organizations of this religion was
issued on 20 April
2017. (tr. by PDS, posted 9 May 2017)
Translator's note: the "threatening inscription" reads "We will
come for all of you."
