Jehovah's Witnesses lose in Orel

COURT RULES JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES EXTREMIST AND ABOLISHES THEIR CONGREGATION

On 14 June 2016, the Orel provincial court satisfied in full the administrative petition of the Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian federation for Orel province for finding the activity of the local religious organizations of Jehovah's Witnesses of Orel extremist and for its liquidation.

 

The decision of the court has not take legal effect and may be appealed in accordance with appellate procedure. (tr. by PDS, posted 15 June 2016)
