Templeton Business Ethics Case Competition

On February 16 and 17, we hosted the 8th Annual Templeton Business Ethics Case Competition in the Lynn Business Center.

This competition gives undergraduate students from invited institutions an opportunity to sharpen their analytical, critical thinking,  and presentation skills as they develop an executive summary of their analysis of a specified case.

The 2023 edition of this remarkable competition witnessed the convergence of brilliant minds from esteemed universities nationwide. Among the prominent institutions that participated were Belmont University, Campbell University, Elon University, Emory University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Georgetown University, University of Iowa, Northern Illinois University, Pennsylvania State University, St. Petersburg College, University of Calgary, University of Florida, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The results of the competition were as follows:

  • First place, represented by Anna Olivier & Katie Raines, was Belmont University.
  • Second Place, represented by Adam Zovko & Sarah Hunt, was Pennsylvania State.
  • Third Place, Georgetown University, was represented by Liam Weetman and Gabriel Macclure.
  • Fourth Place, represented by Sierra Carder & Mary Therese Thavis, was the University of Illinois Ubrana-Champaign.
