The competition provides students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and ethics and tests participants\u2019 analytical, valuation, reporting writing, and presentation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Orlando Chapter, along with a faculty advisor and an industry mentor, work with teams of students to value a stock, write a research report, and present their recommendations. Teams then compete with peers from other schools at local-level competitions organized and judged by CFA Society members and volunteers. The winning university\u2019s team(s) from each local competition then advance to see who will become the sub-regional, regional, and global champions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On February 24<sup>th<\/sup> &nbsp;the RGIP Students competed in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, wining in the State of Florida and advancing to the Southeast regional round<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating in the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Florida and advancing to the Southeast regional round, brings numerous benefits to students and to Stetson, including skill development, networking opportunities, prestige, validation of academic programs, and global recognition.
