For Week 7 of my internship, I had the chance to help out with something super exciting: TEDxStetsonU<\/strong>! Jodi reached out to Morgan asking for some extra hands for the event, and I got the opportunity to be part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main job was to operate one of the three cameras we were using to capture high-quality footage that will eventually go up on the official TEDx YouTube channel! (Sadly, the videos haven\u2019t been posted yet, so I can\u2019t add it to my portfolio just yet \ud83d\ude2d). At the same time, I was also covering the event on Stetson\u2019s Instagram stories<\/strong>. Sharing behind-the-scenes details, speaker highlights, and the most memorable moments of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the camera task sounds pretty simple\u2014literally just making sure to turn it on between speakers lol\u2014I was super nervous<\/strong>. It was my first time using the brand new cameras the marketing department got, and I just wanted to make sure everything worked perfectly<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event made me reflect on how awesome this internship experience has been. I probably wouldn\u2019t have gone to TEDx otherwise\u2014either because I\u2019d be busy with something else or just wouldn\u2019t have prioritized it. But because of this internship, I\u2019ve had the chance to get out on campus, explore new events and initiatives, and build new skills along the way.
