My second week at Renegade Agent Marketing went by in a flash. \u00a0We obviously had a holiday weekend and they didn’t need me on Tuesday so I ended up working from Wednesday to Friday. \u00a0I had emailed the proof sheet to my boss Billy and he really liked the changes. \u00a0Unfortunately the customer was still unsure about the designs. \u00a0I sat down to start from scratch and Sean, the website designer that sits next to me, was just encouraging me to stay focused on what they want and not to take it personally. \u00a0Within minutes I had something new. \u00a0It was simple yet effective and my boss was\u00a0impressed\u00a0how fast I got it done. \u00a0With that sent off for feedback,\u00a0I started on my next project which was a logo design for a clothing line that the owners wife was starting up. \u00a0Talk about high pressure. \u00a0I met with her and she gave me some drawings that she did and explained to me what she was looking for. \u00a0She basically wanted a badge or crest of some kind that symbolized what her company was about. \u00a0I spent Thursday and Friday coming up with a bunch of different designs, converting them to .png files, and\u00a0sent all of it out before the weekend.<\/p>\n

This week really took\u00a0my photoshop skills to a different level. I have become really comfortable with masking layers and I’m learning more and more tricks. \u00a0One thing that I took away from the week was not to get discouraged when you have a picky customer. \u00a0It’s part of the job to try stuff and get feedback until the customer is happy. \u00a0 It’s\u00a0definitely a\u00a0nice\u00a0to have another designer there to give me\u00a0tips and encouragement. \u00a0This week was a great learning experience.<\/p>\n
