Week 4 at Renegade Agent Marketing was completely\u00a0different. \u00a0The company had a big deadline coming up for a real estate webinar pitch and one of the main bosses \u00a0needed\u00a0his Powerpoint presentation finished. (It hadn’t even been started yet) \u00a0The pitch was for a 5 million dollar house so the stakes were high. I finally got to see what goes on in the conference\u00a0room where they have an 11:30 meeting everyday. \u00a0My main task was to research and then explain what Retarget Marketing is and how our company uses it over\u00a0others. \u00a0I had never heard of it before but I quickly learned that Retarget Marketing is basically like the Facebook ads that you see that are tailored to your interest. \u00a0When you click on anything, a cookie is installed on your computer which sends Facebook information so they can send you better ads that meet your interest. \u00a0Thats basically what our company does but with real estate.\u00a0\u00a0It sounds simple but the\u00a0reason a lot of companies can’t do it is because of price. \u00a0Our company spends about 5K a week on it. \u00a0Now I know why they need interns.<\/p>\n

This was basically my pitch but summed up into keywords for powerpoint sake. \u00a0When I thought about it, I realized that I hate ads and that its really ironic that the company I worked for was part of that annoyance. \u00a0 I gained a better appreciation for the technology that goes into that though. Ive always felt like Facebook was stalking me. I guess they are.\u00a0Once that was done I just continued to follow the outline and bust out as many slides as i could. \u00a0Chris, the boss, really like my slides so that was a better experience\u00a0than last week. \u00a0By the end of the week we had finished the powerpoint. \u00a0All 79 slides.<\/p>\n
