MIRAG by Alum Chester Udell

Chester Udell (BM DIGA 2005) has been busy since our last update on this site. As part of his doctoral work, Chester has been working on an autonomous musical robot called MIRAG that can improvised on stringed monochords. It reacts to colors by changing the harmonic basis of its improvisations. Check out this video demonstration:
