DMF: Digital Media Festival 2014

You are invited to submit your digital media works to the 16th annual Digital Media Festival, to be held at the Second Stage Theater on the 24th of April! This event is sponsored by the Digital Arts program and organized in collaboration with Green Hat Media to showcase student works across all categories of digital art. This year, we are accepting submissions until the fourth of April in three broad sections: Video, Audio, and Interactive and Performance work. Submission Guidelines:

General Rules: Submission are only open to currently enrolled Stetson students. By using the submission forms provided in the links below, you are agreeing to allow Green Hat Media and the Digital Arts program to share and screen your work in relation to the Festival. When submitting, please include your name, email, the title of the work, a URL to the piece online if applicable, description, credits and technical details (length, instillation information, etc.). Awards in each category will be first, second and third place, and audience choice which will be voted at the event.

Interactivity and Performance

Submission open to all interactive and new media performance works created by currently enrolled Stetson students. Accepted submissions will be installed throughout our venue or performed on stage and eligible for awards. Submissions must include video documentation of your project hosted by youtube or vimeo. Please list all technical and space requirement and make note of what equipment you can supply and what equipment you will need provided. Please list name, group members name, email, title, URL, technical and space requirements. If selected you will be required to help install your project on the 24th of April. Fixed Media Audio Works

Submission open to all fixed media audio works created by currently enrolled Stetson students.. Accepted submission will be considered for all award categories. All submissions must be in stereo mp3 format and hosted online (sound cloud is recommended).If selected you must be able to provide a high quality version, in .aiff format, of your submission by the 20th of April. Video and Animation

Submissions open to all video and animation works created by currently enrolled Stetson students.. Accepted submission will be considered for all award categories. All submissions must include a URL to a video hosted by vimeo or youtube. If selected you must be able to provide a high quality version, in quicktime format, of your submission by the 20th of April.
