Summer 2015

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean it’s quiet!

Faculty are actively engaged in their own creative practice and projects.

Students have scattered but many are participating in creative activities and/or internships (and they are blogging about it!).

Summer session classes are being offered:

  • ARTS 105A – Introduction to Drawing (Prof. Sean Erwin)
  • ARTS 216 A – Ceramics I: Handbuilding (Prof. Sean Erwin)
  • ARTH 241A/H – Art History Survey I: From Prehistory to 14th Century (Dr. Katya Kudryavtseva)
  • ARTH 242A/H – Art History Survey II: From Renaissance to Contemporary (Dr. Katya Kudryavtseva)
  • CSCI 111Q – Introduction to Computing (Dr. Nathan Wolek)
  • DIGA 101A – Digital Art Fundamentals (Prof. Martha Garzon)
  • DIGA 131A – Digital Photography (offered in Freiburg) (Prof. Matt Roberts)

And we are getting ready to welcome our new students to campus in August.

If you have questions or need information about the Creative Arts Department or any of our programs (studio art, art history, digital arts, or theatre arts), the Hand Art Center, or the Second Stage Theatre, please don’t hesitate to contact the Department Office at 386.822.7266 or [email protected].
