Gunderson: 40 years

The Hand Art Center is proud to present exhibitions celebrating 40 years of teaching at Stetson University by Dan Gunderson, Professor of Art. The exhibition in the Hand Art Center gallery features Dan’s current professional work, which explores the playfulness of toys using color theory, symmetry, and design in sculpture as well as photographs. Coinciding with this main exhibit, the display cases in Sampson Hall will showcase a retrospective of Dan’s ceramic work over the years.

The exhibits are free and open to the Public. A reception celebrating Dan, his teaching, his art, and his exhibits will be Friday, January 22, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The reception is also free and open to the public; cultural credit will be available for Stetson students.

Spring 2016 Gallery hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11-4pm / Thursday 11-6pm / Saturday 12-4pm / and by appointment / Closed University Holidays
