AUDITIONS Fall 2017

TWO AUDITIONS

This Fall, we will have auditions for the first show right at the beginning of the semester, and the second show in mid-October.

The first is Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn – a high-paced, rollicking British comedy featuring three bedrooms and four couples. With that kind of setup, what could possibly go wrong?

Auditions for Bedroom Farce  will be held

Thursday August 24
from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00
and
Friday August 25
from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00

in the Second Stage Theatre in the Museum of Art building 600 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand (across the street from Emily Hall).

Performances will run October 12-15, 2017.

Auditions are free and open to all Stetson students and community members. You need not have a prepared monologue, although you may perform one if you wish. You may be asked to read from scripts and/or improvise some acting and movement. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. You do not need to attend both audition sessions, unless you find it exciting to do so.

Stay tuned for news regarding our exciting second show: a trio of one act protest plays that “stick it to the man,” directed by and featuring visiting professionals from LA!
