2017 Undergrad Show: Important Dates

The 28th Annual Undergraduate Student Exhibition Opening Reception will take place on November 3rd from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m in the Hand Art Center.
The work will be displayed from November 3rd – December 8, 2017. 

Art takes time, so keep these dates in mind!

 

 

 

Entry Drop-Off

October 23rd, 24th, and 25th
11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Any student can submit up to four visual works of art. Each submission will need a Contest Form which includes the dimensions of the work, the title, price, and whether the piece is for sale.

Initial Judging

October 26th
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Initial judging will be conducted by Creative Arts Faculty members between 10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. on October 26th.

Pick-Up

October 27th , 28th, and 30th

Results of judging will be posted on the Hand Art Center door after 2 p.m. on October 27th.
Submissions that were not accepted into the show should be picked up between 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on October 27th, and between 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on October 28th.
After October 30th, unaccepted artworks will be moved outside of the HAC building.

Awards Judging

November 4th

Students whose works are judged best will receive monetary awards of $50 to $500. Some of these awards will be purchase awards and will remain in the Stetson University permanent collection.
