AUDITIONS

for our first theatre production will be held

Monday and Tuesday, August 23 and 24, 2021

3:30-5:30 and 7:00-9:00 pm

in the Second Stage Theatre (Museum of Art bldg), 600 N Woodland Blvd

(please enter through the stage door on the NW corner of the building)

Production

Festival of New Plays (staged readings)
Stetson Theatre will begin its 116th season with a Festival of New Plays (staged readings), featuring staged readings of new plays by Florida playwrights, including Stetson faculty and students. Each reading will be followed by a talkback and discussion with the playwright and cast.

Audition process

This Fall, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to make some changes and accommodations to our usual audition process.

To prepare for your in-person audition, please do the following:

1. sign up for an appointment here

2. download, complete, and print the audition form here and bring it with you to the audition

3. look over one of the following monologues to perform. here. You may bring a printout with you to the audition (no performing by reading off a device, please). If you have a prepared audition monologue already, you may perform it instead.

If you are unavailable during these times, and/or do not wish to audition in person, please let me know and we can set up a Zoom appointment. Be sure to get me your audition form at the email address below.

Alternatively, you may record your audition on a cell phone, upload it to YouTube, etc. and share it with me at [email protected] the email address below before 8pm on Tuesday, August 24. Be sure to get me your audition form at the same email address.

Auditions are free and open to all Stetson students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members!
