Faculty Advisor to Innocence Initiative student organization. Assisted Students in submitting draft legislation to Senator Rousson on clean hands provisions regarding compensation for wrongful incarceration, Stetson Law School - Innocence Initiative, 2020–2021

Created the Racial Justice/Diversity/SJA coordinated leadership team consisting of Kristen Adams, me, Lance Long, Carmen Johnson and Joann Grages Burnett. The goal of this team is to augment each other’s work, coordinate our efforts and plan effective and impactful events for faculty and students. Training & Education Subcommittee of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Assisted the Sarah Deonarinesingh, Chair of this Subcommittee in identifying training resources for students and faculty. Alliance for Advocacy & Philanthropy – developed and coordinated pro bono opportunities for our students in a new program called the Community Associates Program (CAP) – placed 13 students with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations for the Spring Semester. placed approximately 20 students for the Summer Semester . Worked closely with Jesse Coraggio, Vice President of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay to achieve all objectives of this program. Designed materials for students to understand their responsibilities as a nonprofit intern. Designed materials for nonprofit executives to understand their responsibilities as a supervisor of a law student intern. Reviewed resumes, interviewed students and matched students with appropriate service providers. Monitored student performance and nonprofit executive satisifaction with student performance. Created the template for the Summer Pro Bono Program and worked with Career Development to advertise opportunities and gather student resumes, as well as gathering information from nonprofit executives interested in hosting student interns. Worked with Career Development to develop a brochure/booklet about the CAP Program, Alliance for Advocacy and Philanthropy, 2020–2021

Assisted Kristen Adams, the William Reece Smith Chair, in planning several events related to her project on Poetry & the Law. Attended the majority of the events that she hosted and assisted in facilitating student conversations and learning, Stetson Law School - Poetry & the Law, 2020–2021

participated in an exploratory committee to form the Higher Education Consortium on Racial Justice with USF, St. Pete College and Eckerd College. Successfully completed an application to participate in a training institute that will hlep us form a Truth Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Center in the city of St. Petersburg. Served as the Team Leader for Stetson in this Consortium. Supervised the work of 6 SJA students researching TRHT centers. Students presented their research at the exploratory committee meetings. Attended biweekly meetings with the exploratory committee. Supervised weekly meetings with the student researchers. Taught the students presentation skills necessary for community collaboration. Assisted in planning two meetings for community leaders regarding the establishment of the Consortium, USF, Eckerd, St Pete College -- Higher Education Consortium on Racial Justie, 2020–2022
