Luz Nagle, Worked on revision of the the IBA Draft Climate Crisis Statement and added two key points: The IBA encourages lawyers to engage with current and future legislative efforts to address the climate crisis and consider by, “Supporting proactive laws and policies to address future risk to vulnerable and potentially vulnerable populations.” The IBA recommends bar associations, law societies and similar bodies around the world to consider, “Engaging law schools on training the next generation of lawyers on advocacy, representation, lobbying, and legislating on ways to mitigate climate change and provide for adaptation to its effects in a manner that respects human rights.”, International Bar Association Committee on Poverty, February 2020

Luz Nagle, As a Trustee, reviewed funding project on Lawyers at Risk, and the Role of Bar Associations Interim Report. The first of these projects aimed to support the Special Rapporteur on Independence of Judges and Lawyers in the development of his report on the role of bar associations in protecting lawyers; as well as to develop the lawyers at risk toolkit.
