This event is designed to introduce students to the GAL Program\, a unique opportunity for law students to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children. \nAt this session\, you will: \n\n\nLearn how to become a certified Guardian ad Litem volunteer\, \n\n\nGet information on how to begin earning your introductory volunteer hours\, \n\n\nHear directly from GAL representatives about the program’s impact and training requirements\, and \n\n\nDiscover how volunteering as a GAL can build advocacy skills and provide meaningful courtroom experience while still in law school. \n\n\nLunch will be provided.
