Royale Colbert<\/strong>.\u00a0 Judge Colbert presides over criminal cases in the 15th Judicial District of Louisiana.\u00a0 Fe is a former Army brigade JAG Officer, former Assistant Public Defender, Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Attorney General.\u00a0 He was formerly a civil attorney in private practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0Roger Futerman<\/strong>.\u00a0 Atty. Futerman has been a criminal trial lawyer for over 22 years.\u00a0 He is a former state prosecutor.\u00a0 He is a Nationally Board Certified Criminal Attorney.\u00a0 He is also board certified by The Florida Bar.\u00a0 He is a member of the American Collage of Board Certified Attorneys and is a member of the Florida Bar&#8217;s Criminal Law and Trial Board Certification Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>HHJ Anthony Hammond<\/strong>.\u00a0 Judge Hammond read law at St. Catherine&#8217;s, Oxford, 1954-57.\u00a0 He was called to the bar in 1959 but was on National Service and had to wait 2 years.\u00a0 His entire career has been spent in Manchester.\u00a0 He sat as Deputy Judge in 1970, and as Deputy Circuit Judge from 1975.\u00a0 He became a Recorder in 1980.\u00a0 He was appointed Circuit Judge in 1986, retired in 2009, and sat as a Deputy for 2 more years.\u00a0 He was a Tutor in Crime at the Judicial Studies Board (now the Judicial Collage) for 8 years.\u00a0 He was a member of the Parole Board for 6 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0David Hughes.<\/strong>\u00a0 David is a barrister in full-time practice at the Welsh-Anglo Bar with emphasis on actions against the police, civil and commercial litigation, constitutional and administrative law, defamation, and mental health\/health capacity law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0HHJ Nigel Lithman, QC.<\/strong>\u00a0 Nigel was brought up in Essex, attending college and the Bar School.\u00a0 He was called to the Bar in 1976.\u00a0 Junior and Chairman of the Essex Bar Mess.\u00a0 Appointed Queen&#8217;s Counsel in 1997.\u00a0 Sat as a Recorder at The Old Bailey from 2000.\u00a0 Governing Bencher, Inner Temple, 2009.\u00a0 Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association in 2014, when he led the strike against the government.\u00a0 Chairman, Highgate Synagogue.\u00a0 After 20 years in Silk, he was appointed to the Crown Bench in 2017.\u00a0 He retired from the bench in August 2021.\u00a0 Judge Lithman has served on the Judges Panel of the Florida Bar Trial Lawyer Section&#8217;s Advanced Trial Advocacy Course in Gainesville, Florida.\u00a0 He is the author of &#8220;Nothing Like the Truth &#8211; The Trials and Tribulations of a Criminal Judge,&#8221; published in November 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0HHJ James Patrick.<\/strong>\u00a0 Judge Patrick is a Circuit Judge, Bristol Crown Court, where he presides over criminal cases.\u00a0 He was appointed to circuit judgeship on September 22, 2010.\u00a0 He read for an LLB at the City of Birmingham Polytechnic and then undertook the Bar Course at the Inns of Court Law School in London.\u00a0 He was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple.\u00a0 He did a common law pupilage at Guildhall Chambers in Bristol in 1989, becoming a tenant in 1990.\u00a0 He practised in family, civil, and crime before specialising in crime from about 2000.\u00a0 He sat as a part-time\u00a0 Crown Court Judge (a Recorder) from 2005 until appointed to the circuit bench.\u00a0 He has been a Bencher of Inner Temple from 2015.\u00a0 He has been a Tutor for the Judicial College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Bob Persante.<\/strong>\u00a0 Atty. Persante has been a trial lawyer for 39 years.\u00a0 He is listed in Best Lawyers of America.\u00a0 He is a partner in Persante Zuroweste, P.A., focusing on state and federal litigation, appeals, securities litigation, guardianship, probate and trust litigation, business litigation, mediation, and arbitration.\u00a0 Bob Persante is also a National Chess Master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0Hon. Mary Scriven<\/strong>.\u00a0 Judge Scriven has been a U.S. District Court Judge in the Middle District of Florida since 2008.\u00a0 She previously served as a federal Magistrate Judge for over 10 years.\u00a0 Prior to that, she practiced law in corporate litigation and trade regulation.\u00a0 Judge Scriven has also served as a guest faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in the Masters Program for Trial Advocacy, Law Institute, Nottingham, England.\u00a0 She frequently lectures in the areas of trial advocacy, pretrial procedure, and commercial and criminal law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The moderator will be the Hon. William H.
