With this in mind, we are delighted to announce that the\u00a02023 Baker Donelson\u00a0Diversity Scholarship<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>application is now available!\u00a0 We will award three scholarships to three diverse rising 2L law students\u00a0who will complete their first year of law school by June 2022. Recipients will be awarded a\u00a0six-week, salaried 2L Summer Associate position for the summer of 2023 in one of our Firm\u2019s offices.\u00a0Additionally, each recipient will be awarded $10,000, which will be paid\u00a0prior to the student’s third year of law school, to help defray the cost of law school tuition and related expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eligibility.\u00a0<\/strong>To qualify for the scholarship, the candidates must: (1) have completed their first year of a full-time JD program with an anticipated graduation date of 2024 at the time of application, (2) be a member of a diverse population that historically has been underrepresented in the legal profession; and (3) attend an ABA Accredited Law School. Candidates may not be the recipient of a similar scholarship award from another law firm<\/p>\n\n\n\n Application Deadline and Requirements.\u00a0<\/strong>Applications are due by midnight, Friday, June 10, 2022.\u00a0Interested students must include the documents below with their application.
