Stetson University College of Law encourages students, faculty, and staff to engage in the following thoughtfully curated local events in the St. Petersburg area to honor his impact.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MLK Day Weekend, January 14 \u2013 16<br>During MLK Day weekend, the Advantage Village Academy is hosting four free events: The MLK Music and Art Festival, Family Fun Day, MLK Band Showcase, and a Community Gospel Concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mlkdreambig.com\/events\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mlkdreambig.com\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more about the events here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday, January 16<br>Walk in the MLK Day Parade with Stetson University College of Law and the Black Law Student Association.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parade begins at 11AM, but all participants must be present to check in starting at 8:30AM. The parade route will be approximately 1.5 miles. Carpool will be provided.&nbsp;<br>Location: The check \u2013 in area is at the intersection of 4th Avenue South and 1st Street South.
