The following are the eligibility requirements for the HAWL Scholarship:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicant must be female.<\/li><li>Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher. <\/li><li>Applicant must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a 2 or 4 year college of university or an accredited law school for the 2023-2024 academic year. <\/li><li>Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in Law or Criminal Justice.<\/li><li>Applicant must be a resident of or attend school in the Tampa Bay area. <\/li><li>Personal statement must indicate a commitment to equality under the law and the promotion of women&#8217;s issues in the law. <\/li><li>Applicant must complete application in its entirety, inclusive of requested documents.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarship application is attached. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-cf389a00-897c-4f5e-9ba3-4d6d1311337f\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/HAWL-Scholarship-Application-2023.docx\">HAWL-Scholarship-Application-2023<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/HAWL-Scholarship-Application-2023.docx\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-cf389a00-897c-4f5e-9ba3-4d6d1311337f\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with the application, please attach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>personal statement<\/li><li>copy of your most recent transcript<\/li><li>up to two letters of recommendation (optional, but encouraged)<\/li><li>copy of your most recent application for financial aid (optional)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline to apply is April 14, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mission of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers (HAWL) is to promote gender equality in the legal profession and under the law. &nbsp;HAWL will be awarding four $500.00 scholarships.
