We are excited to share tips 16-18 below! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you missed tips #1-15, they can be found on the Bar Prep Portal<\/a> along with other important bar preparation information and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DID YOU KNOW\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.  <\/strong>BAR EXAM NEWS!  <\/strong>Florida made changes to the bar exam effective immediately!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. On March 31, 2023, the\u00a0Florida Board of Bar Examiners<\/a>\u00a0published revised Test Specifications for Part A of the General Bar Examination. The revised Test Specifications are effective beginning with the July 2023 exam. In addition, starting in July 2023, the board primarily will use multiple-choice questions to test Trusts and UCC Articles 3 and 9 when those subjects are on Part A of the General Bar Examination. The\u00a0March 2023 Study Guide<\/a>\u00a0contains sample multiple-choice items in those subjects.<\/li>
  2. TIP #16:<\/strong>\u00a0Review the Florida Bar Exam Part A Test Specification\u00a0HERE<\/a>\u00a0and<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0purchase an updated commercial bar review course. Ongoing changes to the bar exam are another reason we\u00a0STRONGLY ENCOURAGE\u00a0you to purchase an updated bar review course. Along with review lectures, subject matter outlines, and practice material, your bar review course provider is responsible for providing updates through exam day. These updates include changes to the exam’s structure and changes in the law that occur before and during the 10-week bar study period. Make sure you select a reputable company and ask questions before selecting.\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2.  Stetson will be hosting the July 2023 Bar Exam Kickoff Workshop on April 15, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. REMINDER!  The July 2023 Bar Exam Kickoff Workshop is quickly approaching. This will be an information-packed workshop filled with essential strategies, behind-the-scenes tips and advice, and some high-value approaches to make this bar prep period a bit easier and, most importantly, successful, for you!  The workshop is for all July 2023 bar takers, including out-of-state takers.<\/strong>  In addition to other important sessions, we are hosting a Writing Your Way to Bar Exam Success<\/strong> breakout session. There will be two concurrent presentations for this breakout session. One will be a Florida essay writing strategies session, and the other will be Multistate Performance Test (MPT) strategies session for out-of-state takers. <\/li>
    2.       b.      TIP #18:<\/u><\/strong> You are strongly encouraged to schedule a bar preparation planning conference with Academic Success and Bar Preparation Services.<\/strong> Scheduling a conference is easy.
