Join us in participating in National Pro Bono Week, an annual celebration to raise awareness of pro bono initiatives and encourage further participation in the effort to narrow the access to justice gap. In celebration, students are invited to attend Stetson Law\u2019s Pro Bono Fair on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.<\/strong> in the Great Hall. Stop by and meet representatives of legal service organizations, government agencies, and community organizations in-person and learn more about how you can complete pro bono hours with them while making a difference in your community. Opportunities include summer internships, academic year placements, discrete legal-related activities, and community service initiatives. There\u2019s an opportunity available to fit everyone\u2019s schedule, interests, skills, and goals! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Pro Bono Week: The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service launched the initiative in 2009 because of the increasing need for pro bono services. The nationwide celebration provides an opportunity for local legal associations across the country to provide high quality legal services to those in need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
