Open Seat <\/strong>Election for 3L FT Class<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Elections Committee and SBA will be having an open seat election to fill the currently vacant 3L FT Class Representative seat in the legislative council on Tuesday, October 24th beginning at 12:00pm<\/u><\/strong> in Florin Roebig Courtroom. One<\/strong> open seat is available for the Fall 2023 3L FT <\/strong>Class. The open seat will be filled with a 3L student first. If the open seat remains at the end of the election, then the open seat will be available to a student of any class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To run for this open seat, you must be present on Tuesday, October 24th at 12:00pm<\/u><\/strong> in Florin Roebig Courtroom. Please prepare a short speech and notify the Elections Committee beforehand at <\/strong>elections@law.stetson.edu<\/a><\/strong> by Monday, October 23rd, 12:00pm, if you intend to run. <\/strong>Students who do not e-mail the Elections Committee in advance and show up to run, are still eligible, but will jeopardize our ability to plan the election effectively. <\/em>If you would like to run for an open seat but are unable to attend in person, please email the Elections Committee at elections@law.stetson.edu<\/strong><\/a> with an excuse by 11:59pm on Sunday, October 22nd and we will look into whether accommodations can be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
