Are you passionate about child advocacy and interested in gaining practical experience while making an impact in the life of a child? Crossroads for Florida Kids is currently accepting applications for law student volunteers. You would be paired with two volunteer attorneys that are representing a child as their attorneys ad litem. As a student volunteer, you would be expected to attend court dates, staffings, accompany attorneys to meet with the client between court appearances, and occasionally conduct legal research remotely.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crossroads will make an attempt to match you with an attorney ad litem working in your desired field of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eligibility: You must be a 2L\/3L to participate and be willing to commit to volunteer through the spring semester.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hours are eligible for legal pro bono credit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
