TJFS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering emergency financial assistance, counseling services, and a food bank to the Tampa Bay community at large. As a pro bono intern, you will have the opportunity to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gain insight into the non-profit grant writing process and learn how to write a grant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage with the non-profit community by attending community events and other possible networking opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get involved with Tampa Jewish Family Services\u2019 Community Food Bank (if you desire).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Student interns will be required to commit to volunteering for a minimum of 12 weeks, starting around the week of January 22, and all time spent volunteering will count as&nbsp;<strong>non-legal pro bono<\/strong>. 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls, are welcome to apply.&nbsp;<strong>Priority will be given to students with basic grant writing knowledge and\/or experience.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If interested, submit a resume and cover letter explaining your interest and\/or experience to Jennifer Feld, Esq.&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:jennifer@feldlegal.com\">jennifer@feldlegal.com<\/a>&nbsp;and Dr. Beth Ann Gemunder at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:bethann.gemunder@tjfs.org\">bethann.gemunder@tjfs.org<\/a>&nbsp;by Tuesday, November 28, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tampa Jewish Family Services is seeking pro bono student interns to work virtually on nonlegal research and grant writing projects to obtain additional non-profit funding.
