{"id":75449,"date":"2025-01-25T08:54:23","date_gmt":"2025-01-25T13:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/?p=75449"},"modified":"2025-01-24T08:57:04","modified_gmt":"2025-01-24T13:57:04","slug":"fob-james-law-firm-law-school-scholarship-contest-1000-deadline-december-15-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/fob-james-law-firm-law-school-scholarship-contest-1000-deadline-december-15-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Fob James Law Firm Law School Scholarship Contest &#8211; $1000 &#8211; Deadline: December 15, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fob James wants to hear from law students about the challenges they\u2019ve dealt with and how that\u2019s impacted who they are today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-essay-overview\">Essay Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>They are asking students to write a 300-400 word essay about the following:\u00a0<strong>Describe how you plan on giving back to your community once you become a lawyer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They want law students to explain how they plan on helping their community with their law degree; and their experiences in law school that motivated them to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-eligibility-criteria\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an ABA-accredited law school in the United States as of the fall 2025 semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deadline\">Deadline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applications and essay must be submitted before December 15, 2025; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The winner of the scholarship will be notified by email no later than December 30, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will also post the winner on this page and on social media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-scholarship-reward\">Scholarship Reward<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner of the contest will receive a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their law school tuition costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information can be found at: <a href=\"https:\/\/callfob.com\/law-school-scholarship-contest\/\">Fob James Law Firm Law School Scholarship Contest &#8211; Fob James Law Firm<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fob James wants to hear from law students about the challenges they\u2019ve dealt with and how that\u2019s impacted who they are today.
