{"id":76303,"date":"2025-03-31T13:54:07","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T17:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/?p=76303"},"modified":"2025-03-31T13:54:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T17:54:07","slug":"the-law-place-scholarship-2500-deadline-may-15-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/the-law-place-scholarship-2500-deadline-may-15-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"The Law Place Scholarship &#8211; $2,500 &#8211; Deadline: May 15, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Law Place has decided to annually offer a $2,500 scholarship to one student who can demonstrate their dedication and appreciation of what studying law means to them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter, we would like you to write an essay under 1,000 words on the following subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWho is your legal hero, living or dead?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For your essay to be eligible please include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A header where you mention your full name; the name of the scholarship; the name of the institution you are enrolled in; the mailing address from your financial aid office where we can mail the award; the e-mail address and phone number from your financial aid office; the student ID number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A catchy and original title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A bibliography where you mention all the sources of information used (eg: books, sites; articles, magazines, reports, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once finished, please save your essay in Word format with the following title, \u201cThe Law Place Law School Scholarship 2025 \u2013 Student Name\u201d, and submit it through the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply for the Law School Scholarship<\/strong><br>You must submit your essay and supporting documents using the submission buttons on this page and agree to the&nbsp;<strong>scholarship&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelawplace.com\/law-school-scholarship\/terms-and-conditions\/\">terms and conditions<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can apply for this scholarship by submitting your essay in PDF format.
