At the inaugural Illinois National Client Counseling & Advising Competition, both Stetson teams\u2014Daniel Smith & Samantha Scaletta and Allayna Rajkumar & Noor Algoul\u2014advanced to the quarterfinals. Allayna and Noor continued to the semifinals and ultimately won the entire competition! Noor was also named Best Counselor Overall. These first-time competitors were coached by the amazing Professor Emily Bollman. (L\u2013R: Professor Bollman, Sam, Noor, Allayna, Daniel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stetson also sent three talented teams to Thomas Jefferson School of Law\u2019s National Sports Law Negotiation Competition: Trevor Maxwell & Nick Colicci, Brooke Fopeano & Scott Miller, and Victoria Garcia & Curtis Abele. Two teams\u2014Trevor & Nick and Victoria & Curtis\u2014advanced to the finals, with Victoria and Curtis placing second in what judges called the closest score in competition history! Here\u2019s a great photo of them (L\u2013R: Trevor, Curtis, Scott, Brooke, Victoria, Nick). These students were coached by two fantastic DR alumnae: Kylie Weaver and Carlton Robinson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
