{"id":78271,"date":"2025-10-28T14:18:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T18:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/?p=78271"},"modified":"2025-10-28T14:18:29","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T18:18:29","slug":"nix-patterson-legal-scholarship-award-5000-deadline-december-31-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/nix-patterson-legal-scholarship-award-5000-deadline-december-31-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Nix Patterson Legal Scholarship Award &#8211; $5,000 &#8211; Deadline: December 31, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nixlaw.us20.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e805a0d2803f7f745346a7e5a&amp;id=54411675a5&amp;e=58fcb85789\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Nix Patterson, LLP<\/strong><\/a> is proud to announce the <strong>Nix Patterson Legal Scholarship Award<\/strong>, offering <strong>$5,000<\/strong> to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence and a strong commitment to community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be accepted to or enrolled in law school<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must demonstrate community involvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit a 500\u2013700 word essay and\/or a 1\u20132 minute video introducing yourself, your educational and career goals, the challenges you\u2019ve overcome, and your commitment to community service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an unofficial copy of your law school transcript.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Judging and Awards Process:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications will be reviewed by a panel of Nix Patterson attorneys and staff. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and the clarity and inspiration of their submitted essay or video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nix Patterson Scholarships are one-time monetary awards to be applied directly toward tuition or educational expenses.
